Entrepreneurs Fair

At València Nomads Hub, we create spaces where digital nomads, expats, international professionals, and local innovators connect with Valencia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. For our Summer Meetup, nomads take the stage.

We’re opening a call for entrepreneurs, expat founders, and creatives based in Valencia building something meaningful – a startup, business, community, or creative venture. The Entrepreneur Fair takes place on July 16 at La Harinera. Applications open June 8-21.

Who can apply?

This call is open to entrepreneurs, digital and physical businesses, creative projects, and innovative initiatives based in Valencia. You can apply if you are:

• A digital nomad or former digital nomad with your own project
• An expat or international professional living in Valencia
• A local entrepreneur with a project connected to the international, creative, digital, or nomad community
• A founder or creator offering a product, service, experience, or initiative with value for the nomad, expat, or local ecosystem

Not limited to startups – creative ventures, communities, independent businesses, and initiatives with a strong entrepreneurial mindset are welcome.

OBS: Applications from traditional professional service providers (accounting, law, admin consultancies, or large commercial operators) not aligned with the entrepreneurial spirit of the fair may not be prioritized.

What will selected projects receive?

The Entrepreneur Fair is an exhibition and networking space giving visibility to entrepreneurial projects connected to Valencia’s international, expat, and digital nomad community. 10 projects will be selected as finalists. Each receives:

• Physical stand – one table and two chairs, up to two representatives per project
• Exhibition slots – 17:30-18:00 and 20:00-21:00
• Social media visibility – promotion of your official LinkedIn post across our channels
• Individual interview – about your project, founder journey, and connection with Valencia
• Editorial article – published to promote your initiative and its story
• Panel discussion – the top 3 voted projects are invited to join a live panel during the event

How to apply

Complete the official application form before June 21. Before starting, please prepare:

• Business or project logo
• Active LinkedIn page or LinkedIn profile connected to the project
• Project website, if available
• A video of up to 1 minute (uploaded to YouTube as unlisted)

Your video should explain: who you are, what your project does, your connection with Valencia, and why your project should be selected for the Entrepreneur Fair.

Selection Process

1. Application period – June 8 to June 21

Candidates complete the official form, submit their project information, and upload their 1-minute application video.

2. Preselection by the organization

After the application period closes, the organization will review all submitted projects. Approximately 30 projects may be shortlisted based on: alignment with the Entrepreneur Fair’s objective, real connection with Valencia, value for the nomad/expat/creative/digital community, originality, potential impact, clarity of application, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Shortlisted projects will receive an email on the morning of June 22 with official instructions, post copy, hashtags, and publication guidelines. Do not publish your video or post before that date – early publication may invalidate your application.

3. Public voting on LinkedIn – June 22 to June 28

Only shortlisted projects will participate. Each must publish one official LinkedIn post on June 22 that includes the application video, the base text provided by the organization, the official hashtags, tags the official account, and is submitted through the official tracking form. Voting is based on LinkedIn likes and reactions. The 10 projects with the highest count will be selected as finalists.

• July 16 – Entrepreneur Fair at La Harinera, Valencia
